Our Service Area
Stay and Play at Home proudly serves a 12-mile radius from the state line between Tennessee and Virginia at Interstate 81. Our general service area includes Bristol, Virginia; Bristol, Tennessee; and Blountville, Tennessee.
Our Basic Services
Offered 7 days a week between 6 am and 10 pm (up to 4 visits per day)
Our "in-home" daily pet sitting visits include:
- feeding per your specific instructions
- carefully cleaning dishes after each meal
- providing clean, fresh water each visit
- pet enrichment (potty relief, litter box/waste clean-up, playtime, individual attention, and LOTS of tender, loving care).
General house sitting services are included with "in-home" visits. This provides you an additional peace of mind and added home security because we give your home an occupied look by:
- bringing in mail, newspaper, and packages
- watering indoor and outdoor plants
- filling bird feeders and feeding pond life
- setting out and retrieving garbage container on trash day
- rotating blinds and adjusting lights
Our midday dog walks (or play time) will offer exercise and interaction for your canine. These activities will help to expend any built up energy and also keep your dog or puppy from becoming bored during the day while you are away. Fresh, clean drinking water will be provided during each visit.
Optional Services
Requires advanced notice. Rates based on time and distance, if applicable.
- Leashed dog walks at nearby parks.
- Pet taxi and transportation. Especially helpful for grooming and veterinarian appointments, when schedule conflicts and/or health related issues unexpectedly arise.
- Pet supply pick-up and delivery. For those times when schedule conflicts and/or health related issues keep you from being able to do it yourself.
- Holiday "in-home" service covers those special occasions when you need to be away from home to see distant family and friends. Holidays include: Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Ready Key Program. We securely code and keep keys on file in a locked environment to ensure our ability to care for your pets in short notice situations or during those unforeseen circumstances that may keep you from returning home as originally scheduled. If an emergency should arise, we will be able to care for your pet until you safely return home. Please note that we will never lock the key(s) in the house on the last visit.

We offer a free initial meet and greet consultation to customize your "in-home" pet care requirements.
This consultation visit allows the sitter to become acquainted with pet(s), gather appropriate pet and client information and complete all necessary paperwork, tour the home and pet(s) environment while taking careful notes and detailing specifics of your "in-home" pet care requirements, transfer key(s), and answer any additional questions you may have.
